Yadadri – Development Roadmap

Yadagirigutta is a town located in the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is situated about 60 kilometres from the state capital Hyderabad and is well-known for its Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, which is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in the region. The Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is the main attraction of Yadagirigutta town. It is dedicated to Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and is visited by thousands of devotees every day. The temple has a unique architectural style, with a mixture of North Indian and South Indian styles.

Apart from the temple, Yadagirigutta town also has several other attractions. Some of the popular places to visit in and around the town include the Pochampally Handloom Park, the Bhongir Fort, and the Kolanupaka Temple.




Yadadri Thermal Power Plant:

The Telangana government is building a 4,000 MW thermal power plant near Yadagirigutta. The project is expected to generate employment opportunities and boost the local economy.



Yadagirigutta – Raigiri Greenfield Airport:


The Telangana government is planning to develop a Greenfield airport near Yadagirigutta. The project is expected to provide better connectivity to the region and boost tourism.



A four-lane road connecting Raigiri and Yadadri is envisioned in the Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority’s (YTDA) Master Plan 2035.


A high-speed metro rail with a trip length of around half an hour is also planned to connect Hyderabad.




The government also intends to build an information technology corridor along the Hyderabad-Warangal expressway.


In order to minimize traffic, the YTDA is also building a Ring Road around Temple City.
